**2024 Events
MAY 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM: The Scottish Society who will have their last meeting for the season in the History Room, 2nd Floor of the main library building in Vero Beach. Our Scottish Family History and Research group is open to all Society members and guests. Mason Russell will chair this meeting, and a schedule for reconvening in the Fall will be discussed. During the summer and early fall months, our Leader, Roy Thompson, as well as several other members will be going to Scotland, so no regular meetings will be held.
The Scottish Afternoon Tea in 2024 held in March at The Garden Club of Indian River County for the past two years sold out and was enjoyed by all; the surprise for 2024 event was Scottish Country Dance Lessons. We hope in the near future to be able to find a suitable place and time to offer dance lessons for all who wish to learn these traditional dances.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE SCOTTISH SOCIETY IS A SOCIAL GROUP, HOWEVER WE ARE ALSO SUPPORTIVE OF AND HAVE SCHOLARSHIP MONIES AVAILABLE FOR YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS TO APPLY FOR IF IT INVOLVES SCOTTISH MUSIC,DANCE,TRADITIONS,LITERATURE --- ANYTHING OF SCOTTISH TRADITIONAL CUSTOMS.

October 17, 2024 The Annual Meeting of the Scottish Society will be held at Pointe West, details as to menu, cost and time will be forthcoming
November 21, 2024, St. Andrews Day dinner will be held at Pointe West Country Club, details as to menu, cost and time will be forthcoming, music.

January 23, 2025, Robert Burns Supper at Point West Country Club, details as to menu, cost and time will be forthcoming, music, pipes & drums
